No Abortion Ban in Virginia!

Roe v. Wade has been overturned, and Youngkin is calling for an abortion ban in Virginia.

This ban goes against the will of Virginians: 77% of all Virginia voters agree that the pregnant person, not politicians, should make any decision about pregnancy. Abortion IS health care -- and it's health care that nearly one in four people who get pregnant will seek in their lifetime.

The Virginia Reproductive Equity Alliance won't stand by while your right to control your own body and destiny is taken away. We are fighting back against every attempt to block people from accessing health care.

One of the ways we are fighting back is by pushing for a constitutional amendment that will enshrine your right to abortion into the Virginia constitution. 

What would the constitutional amendment do? It's pretty simple. A constitutional amendment would guarantee that the state cannot deny or interfere with an individual's reproductive freedom in their most personal decisions, including their fundamental right to choose an abortion.
